Poster Keynote lecture mit Professor Carlos Caldas zum Thema "Tackling breast cancer heterogeneity"

Dear colleagues,

It is our great honour and a pleasure to announce the Keynote Lecture of Carlos Caldas, Professor of Cancer Medicine; Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology; Centre Lead for the Cambridge Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC); and Director of the Cambridge Breast Cancer Research Unit.

KEYNOTE LECTURE
Tackling breast cancer heterogeneity

Date/Time: January 19, 2014, 5 – 6 p.m.
Venue: Ruin of the former Virchow Lecture Hall – Berlin Museum of Medical History, Charité – Campus Mitte, Virchowweg 16

Professor Caldas' current research focus is in the functional genomics of breast cancer and its biological and clinical implications. His laboratory recently completed the analysis of the largest genomic and transcriptomic study of breast cancers and redefined the molecular taxonomy of the disease, revealing novel subtypes and their respective drivers.
Furthermore, his laboratory has more recently been developing the use of patient-derived tumor cells as a model system for breast cancer.

We look very much forward to this lecture and would like to cordially invite you to attend.

With our best wishes for a happy new year and best regards,

Prof. Ulrich Keilholz             Prof. Reinhold Schäfer
