The Central Biobank of the Charité
The Central Biobank of the Charité, also called ZeBanC or Biobank, is a joint facility of the Charité and the Berlin Institute for Health Research (BIH).
In the ZeBanC, a wide variety of biomaterials, such as tissue, blood and cerebrospinal fluid, are collected and processed.
In the modern building of the biobank at the Campus Virchow Klinikum, millions of biosamples can be stored under different conditions and processed according to the latest standards and made available for research projects, for example.
