Molecular Tumor Conference: Precision Oncology in Clinical Practice
The molecular tumor board ensures an interdisciplinary consensus after molecular pathological diagnostics have been obtained. Based on the detected changes in the tumor profile, the development of an individual therapy concept is pursued. For this purpose, a detailed analysis of all changes found during sequencing is performed, and if necessary complemented by additional analyses, in order to understand the relevant drivers of tumor progression and to define therapeutic starting points.
The participation in the molecular tumorboard for internal and external colleagues is possible at any time.
- Appointment: weekly, Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. (video conference participation possible) - contact via Dr. rer. nat. Stefan Rakowsky or the Cancer Hotline)
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Location: Charité Comprehensive Cancer Center, 3rd floor, conference room
- Participating disciplines: Hematology/Oncology, Molecular Pathology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, clinical colleagues from the presenting department, Radiology if applicable.
